What it takes to become an international field hockey player (from an Olympic medalist)

This week I decided to ask someone else to do the talking for a change… So, I caught up with England and Great Britain hockey player and an old friend of mine, Ashleigh Ball who was part of the GB hockey team that won a Bronze Medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

I wanted to find out from her what she thinks it takes to become an international player or even just to reach your next level from where you are at right now. Hopefully you can see that it’s not just me preaching this stuff 🙂
